Unique teaching methods

New-for-2021 we are launching a modular learning method on four of our undergraduate business courses. This mode of study allows students to study isolated modules to drive expertise and focus on each part of their degree. This learning method gives students five weeks per module to study and complete assessments.

Week One

Online Exploration

One week of moderated online preparation

Week Two, Three and Four

Two Day Immersion

You will attend campus (a combination of physically and virtually), usually for no more than two days per week for lectures, tutorials, guest speakers, study trips and other activities.

Week Five

Revision and Reflection

In the final week, you will spend revising and on your assessment before moving onto your next 5 week module.

Staffordshire Business School is set within the grounds of our main Stoke-on-Trent campus. So our students are able to experience, not only their own state-of-the-art facilities such as the brand-new £40m Catalyst building, the Transition Room and the Collaboratory, but share the facilities used by other courses such as the Cadman TV Studios and broadcasting equipment, or the VR packed Smart Zone.
