Participatory Action Research Programme

The PAR programme provides staff and Post Graduate Researchers from the university with resources and time to develop their skills and confidence to use PAR methods and techniques. The programme also supports people to extend their networks and reflect on their participatory practice whilst completing a short PAR project of their own, with the support of a small grant.

The PAR programme provides knowledge and skills on:

  • How to use PAR principles, process or engagement techniques to enhance research

  • How to navigate the ethics of participatory action research

  • How to grow and support a team of community researchers

  • How PAR can maximise research impact

  • How PAR can be built into research modules
