Guaranteed accommodation

Finding a place to stay during your first year of study is a big consideration and an important part of your University experience. We guarantee all new undergraduate entrants at our Stoke on Trent locations a place to live, so you can be worry free.  

There are some exclusions to this guarantee - please see the full terms and conditions.

UK students

Eligibility

To be eligilbe for a guaranteed accommodation offer, you must: 

  • Be holding a conditional or unconditiional firm offer of a place on a full-time undergraduate degree at the university
  • Apply for a full licence before the 31st August 2025
  • Be applying for a single occupancy room 
  • Accept the offer of accommodation within the deadline detailed in your offer 
  • Be studying at the Stoke-on-Trent campus or Stafford Centre of Excellence. Our London campus is excluded from the guarantee

Payment

When you accept your offer, you must make a pre-payment of £50 or pay your entire licence fee in full. This is not a deposit but is part of your total licence fee and the pre-payment will be deducted from your first accommodation instalment.

Alternative accommodation

If there are no rooms at the campus halls of residence, we will support you to find alternative local accommodation with trusted providers.

International students

If you're joining us as a first-year international student we will guarantee you accommodation at our Stoke-on-Trent campus (subject to the meeting the below criteria).

You'll need to make sure that:

  • Be holding a conditional or unconditiional firm offer of a place on a full-time degree at the university (undergraduate or postgraduate)
  • Apply for a full licence before the 31st August 2025
  • Be applying for a single occupancy room
  • Accept the offer of accommodation within the deadline detailed in your offer
  • Be studying at the Stoke-on-Trent campus or Stafford Centre of Excellence. Our London campus is excluded from the guarantee
