  • Date:
  • Time: 10.30am – 4pm
  • Location: Science Centre, Staffordshire University, Leek Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 2DF
  • Category:
  • Community event

Join us for an interactive event that is family friendly and targeted at beginners, amateurs and people with a blossoming interest in wildlife conservation but do not know where or how to start. We can offer advice and introduce you to many of the charities and societies involved in invertebrate conservation including the Staffordshire Invertebrate Group, Buglife, Butterfly Conservation and many others.

There will be a host of stalls and talks on offer. Many of the stalls are interactive, especially targeted at children. So while you read some display material or chat to society members the kids can be kept entertained and busy with a range of activities from pond-dipping and book readings to looking at bees or flies under a microscope or tasting honey from straight from a bee hive!
