Ade Adepitan MBE is a British television presenter and wheelchair basketball player. Having survived polio as a child, he worked with his passion - wheelchair basketball - to become a bronze medal winner at the Athens Olympics and gold medal winner at the World Championships.
In this ambitious and inspirational Basil Ashford Memorial Lecture, Ade tells his story - how he carved out a career as successful athlete and broadcaster, his move towards documentary programming and how he uses television as a platform to campaign against racism and disability discrimination
