Nick Hilton, Project Director for HS2, will deliver this free technical lecture. 

HS2 is Europe’s largest infrastructure programme. Nick Hilton is Head of Delivery for Phase 2a of the project - linking Crewe and the West Midlands. He is responsible for directing the pre-construction design and engineering activities that will form the basis of its future development. Given high level engagement with stakeholders including H.M. Government, Network Rail, and the company’s internal Directorates, few are better-placed than our Guest to present an objective view of current project status. HS2 will employ the latest developments in track, trains and propulsion systems supported by advanced civil, electrical and electronics engineering practices. Nick Hilton will be presenting a State-of-the-Art review.
