The Hands of God? The Contribution of religious communities to social care: Inaugural Professorial Lecture by Dr Peter Kevern

We are delighted to invite you to an Inaugural Professorial by Dr Peter Kevern

Faith-based communities are everywhere, and many of them have a reputation for doing ‘good works’.

But what is the relationship between being religious and serving the community? At a time when Covid-19 is forcing us to rely more on each other, this lecture will look at research on the difference they may make.

In line with the latest public health guidance from the UK Government and other relevant authorities, we do not plan to hold any events on campus this autumn. We will therefore deliver our public events online.

The event takes place on Thursday 1 October at 6.00pm online.
