At Staffordshire University we want to help Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire to be a great place to live, work and study.

  • Date:
  • Time: 1.30pm – 3pm

At Staffordshire University we want to help Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire to be a great place to live, work and study, one where our communities, students and colleagues can flourish. As the Connected University we want to join forces with our communities and our partners to collectively make a positive difference to our city and county.

We want to understand your ambitions for our city and county, our collective strengths and any actions you feel can help us to collectively reach our imagined future. We will use these ideas to help us to plan and co-create our future Connected Community Activity in partnership with others across the city and county. We invite you to an informal, online conversation where we will:

• Share with you our Staffordshire University Connected Communities approach and some of our recent Connected Communities work delivered in partnership with others.

• Hear your aspirations for Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire

• Understand our collective strengths

•Identify the challenges we face in taking action

• Invite you to be part of the Staffs CAN, the advisory network for our Connected Communities activity.

The meeting will take no longer than one hour, thirty minutes.

Your responses will be anonymised and compiled into a short report and shared which will be made available on our website. You will not be named unless you specifically ask to be. We may also use some quotes from this conversation for publicity purposes and to understand the difference we make as a Connected University. You do not have to take part and can stop taking part at any time, even after the meeting has started. If you have any questions about this Big Conversation please email Nic Gratton at Staffordshire University at n.gratton@staffs.ac.uk or contact us on (01782) 292751.
