The dust we can trust: searching for traces by Professor Claire Gwinnett

In her inaugural professorial lecture, Claire Gwinnett explains how her career in trace evidence has led her to sampling pumas in Brazil, examining Freud’s couch, diving for samples on the Great Barrier Reef and being scientific lead on the sailing yacht the American Promise along the Hudson river. Professor Gwinnett also describes how her work in fibre and microplastics analysis is helping to solve crimes and improve our environment.
