  • Time: 10am – 2pm

At Staffordshire University, fully preparing you with all the skills you need for the workplace is one of our main goals. We do this by using digitally enabled simulation facilities and practical learning techniques so you can be confident in your abilities before you go on to placement or out into the workforce. Come and see this in action for yourself and have a go at one of our hands-on experience days.

Our main campus in the vibrant city of Stoke-on-Trent contains all the world-class physical facilities you’d expect from an award-winning institution, plus a digital presence that combines online resources with cloud-based learning and opportunities for digital development that you won’t find anywhere else.

Our Centre for Health Innovation is dedicated to training the healthcare professionals of the future and is largely based in the heart of the historical county town of Stafford. In 2021, the centre benefited from an extensive multimillion-pound investment providing brand-new training facilities for the health professionals of tomorrow.

Our experience days cover courses in:

  • Nursing and Midwifery
  • Social Work & Health and Social Care
  • Biological and Biomedical Sciences
  • Sport & Exercise
  • Psychology
  • Working with Children, Young People and Families
  • Allied Health and Paramedic Science (featured at Stafford experience day only)

You’ll join practical sessions, meet our knowledgeable teaching team and gain hands-on experience using our equipment and facilities.

Face coverings are required when inside our campus buildings unless you are exempt from wearing one.
