Communities and Communication - Diverse Voices 2022

We are delighted to welcome you to the 2nd edition of Communities and Communication, an international interdisciplinary conference and festival.

  • Date:
  • Time: 9am – 5pm

The first edition of our event exceeded everyone’s expectations – with nearly 2500 submissions from 105 countries, and a great turnout, we celebrated our theme, Connections, through an exquisite collection of panels, films, posters and keynote speakers.

This time we expanded the event to allow art submissions, theatre, film and traditional papers and we once again exceeded our expectations with over 3,000 submissions.

The theme of the event is Diverse Voices, and we have a great selection of panelists and keynote speakers.

The need for Diverse Voices’ inclusion into the conversation on communities and communication has never been more urgent. Connecting communities only makes sense when a variety of experiences share the stage in a respectful and engaging way, building a network of support and understanding between disciplines and different forms of expression. Building upon the success of last year’s edition, we are excited to host participants from around the globe to engage in the discussion, in the hope of a more integrated approach to knowledge generation.

We very much hope you will enjoy this event!

Agata Lulkowska, Sharon Coleclough and Stephanie Steventon
