Community event
This year’s theme is the great outdoors, so we’re holding a couple of events on our Stoke-on-Trent campus for students, staff and the local community to enjoy the fantastic surroundings on our doorstep.
Join Dr Eleanor Atkins, Lecturer in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, here at Staffordshire University to help plant a green wall outside our Science Centre. Or if you fancy finding out more about the sites and history of Stoke-on-Trent, Martin Brown, our Senior Lecturer in Architectural History and Theory, will be leading a guided walk around the University’s on-site Nature Reserve.
Join us from 9.30am on Sunday in the Coffee Shop in The Catalyst (Leek Road), with activities running from 10am to 11.30am.
We will have aerial photos of Stoke-on-Trent through the years displayed on the ground floor of The Catalyst and Staffordshire goodies and sustainable freebies, including free oatcake mix for the first 50 to arrive on the day (one per family or individual), and seed book marks for children that attend.
Sign up here and bring your friends and family on to campus. Parking will be free on the day. Not sure where to find us or park? Take a look at our campus map.
