Would you like to work at Staffordshire University educating the healthcare workforce of the future or supporting the School in administrative and technical roles? Or just interested in seeing our great facilities and getting a taste for how we support teaching and learning through technology.
We have a variety of roles within the School, supporting courses leading to registration as an ODP, Adult/Child/Mental Health Nurse, Midwife, Paramedic, Biomedical Scientist and Clinical Psychologist as well as other psychology, and health and wellbeing related courses. We also have a variety of administrative and technical support roles. As well as employing staff in permanent full and part-time positions we also have opportunities for clinical staff to join us on more informal part-time contracts that enable you to share your expertise with our students and also give you a flavour of what is involved if you might be considering a career in academia in the future.
In addition, we are looking for Service Users/Carers to work alongside our academics to give a lived experience perspective of health conditions to our students. These would be hourly paid roles which you can work around your schedule.
This will be a child friendly event so please feel free to bring your families and explore our exciting state of the art simulation facilities.
As well as the programme of activities below there will also be colleagues available for you to chat to throughout the event. The activities below are drop in so pick and choose what you would like to be involved in and don’t forget to join one of our tours of the Centre and simulation facilities at 10.45, 11.45 or 12.45.
