Join us for a transformative Business Breakfast event hosted by Staffordshire University in partnership with Cannock Chase Council.

Why join us?

In 2019, Cannock Chase Council declared a climate emergency, setting a bold vision for the district to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. Now, we invite businesses within the Cannock Chase District Council area to join us on a journey towards sustainability and financial efficiency.

At this exclusive event, you'll hear firsthand from a business leader and Staffordshire University academic who have developed a Net Zero plan with the goal of reducing carbon emissions while significantly cutting business costs.

Discover how your business can embark on a fully funded 12-week programme to assess carbon usage and uncover potential savings, as well as apply for a £1,000 grant to help invest in greener cost-saving initiatives.

How will this project help your business?

By participating in this programme, your business will gain access to invaluable resources and expertise. Work closely with the university's experts to receive guidance on innovation, market research, and evaluating Net Zero options. Plus, explore the feasibility of integrating new technologies and processes into your operations.

Each participating business will be assigned a trained student or graduate intern who will spend 12 weeks embedded within your organisation. Collaborate with expert academics and access cutting-edge equipment, including a robotic arm, 3D printers, and laser scanners, all provided by Staffordshire University.

What will you get?

In addition to making strides towards carbon neutrality, you'll gain insight into how small changes can yield significant financial benefits for your business. Attendees will enjoy a complimentary brunch and the opportunity to network with like-minded businesses. Plus, take advantage of our Innovation Surgery, where you can receive free 1-2-1 advice from our dedicated Net Zero Innovation Consultant.

Don't miss this chance to revolutionise your business and contribute to a sustainable future. Register now to secure your spot. Together, let's pave the way towards a greener, more prosperous tomorrow.
