Staffordshire University’s Campus Security Team has been recognised nationally for their work to keep the University’s campuses safe and secure.
We are delighted that the Staffordshire University Security Team has been recognised in the AUCSO Awards 2022. The team has gone above and beyond the call of duty across many varied and challenging incidents over the past year ensuring student, staff and visitor safety.
The team scooped the prestigious Security Team of the Year title in The Association of University Chief Security Officers (AUCSO) annual awards.
AUSCO is the leading organisation for security professionals working in higher and further education around the world. Its Annual Awards celebrate the work security teams have achieved within their institutions. Awards are presented to teams and individuals who have demonstrated a very high standard of service throughout the year or who have given an exceptional response to an incident under extreme circumstances.
The Staffordshire University Day Campus Security Team was selected as category winners for their outstanding work including their response to dealing with scenarios such as mental health distress calls and flooding incidents.
