Head of Recruitment and Outreach at Staffordshire University London, Sammy Engele, stated, “Career exploration and development are fundamental, not only towards professional growth, but personal too! Career exploration isn't just about finding a job; it's a multifaceted process that involves learning more about your strengths, passions and how it can align to various career paths. By identifying this, you can gain valuable insight into who you are and the opportunities that are out there. Likewise, career development plays a key role in ensuring long-term success and satisfaction in one's chosen field. Only through continuous learning, upskilling, and adapting to industry trends, individuals can stay relevant and competitive in today's dynamic job market”.

Sammy continued, “At Staffordshire University London, we are dedicated to providing resources, support, and guidance to champion people on their career journeys. Whether that’s through our widening participation programmes, networking opportunities like community coffee mornings, or workshops from ‘How to Kickstart a Career in Technology’ to ‘Student Finance and Budgeting in University’, we strive to equip those with the tools they need to thrive.

Moreover, Staffordshire University London recognises the significance of fostering partnerships with industry champions to enrich students' learning experiences. Collaborative efforts with organisations such as Inspire, LIFT, Skillstruct have paved the way for internships, placements, and networking opportunities, ensuring Staffordshire University London students are well-prepared to transition seamlessly into the workforce upon graduation.

National Careers Week serves as a poignant reminder of the profound influence education can wield in shaping future prospects, a commitment that Staffordshire University London upholds.
