Anisa Mkuwu

Lecturer

Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business

I graduated from Ulster University in Northern Ireland with BSc (Hons) in Computer Science in 2005. I then completed my MSc in Telecommunications and Networks by 2007 before working in the IT industry for few years before starting my teaching career.

My teaching career started as a computer science secondary school teacher and course leader for GCSEs and A Levels in East London. In 2009, I moved to South Essex College and University of Essex as a Lecturer in Networking where I worked for 6 years. Then in 2015 I joined Staffordshire University as a lecturer in computer networks and security.

I am a Cisco qualified instructor for CCNA, Network Security, CyberOps Associate and DevNet Associate. I have designed and developed a series of modules for the distance learning courses we offer to HM Forces personnel, specifically on networking and security.
