Baylee Jennings

Lecturer

Health, Education, Policing and Sciences

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Biology at Staffordshire University in 2018, and an MSc in Applied Research (Medical Entomology) in 2019 before continuing my journey in academia to early career research in 2020. I am now a lecturer in Biology and Biomedical Sciences whilst studying a for PhD in Ecology and Environmental Management to find the best management solutions for increasing biodiversity in urban areas. This coincides with being a freelance ecologist since 2019, undertaking protected species surveys across the UK and generally being a nuisance to wildlife, spending the majority of my free time outdoors. My main areas of interest fall within genetics and evolution, ecology, the natural world and environmental health and diseases.
