I am the Course Leader for BSc (Hons) Computer Games Programming and have a background in games development via my experience operating my own indie games company. Within the wide umbrella of games development, I would say creating and programming game mechanics and researching game accessibility are my favourite.
In the past I have showcased games around the UK at national events such as Insomnia, EGX, RTX, etc. Worked on contracts
In addition to programming games I also love to play them and have done since a young age. I play games across all genres whether that is to experience the deep and emotional narrative of games like The Last of Us and Final Fantasy, the over the top action of Kingdom Hearts and Devil May Cry, or the high score chasing of Tony Hawk and Resogun.
In addition to my teaching role, I am the Graduate Opportunities Lead for Games. For this role I organise events employability events such as talks and Interviews from members of the games industry.
