I have over thirty years’ experience of health research and social care, research and education. I have expertise in perinatal mental health, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and service user and carer involvement in research and education and have published widely in these areas including over 60 peer reviewed publications, books and toolkits.

I am a National Teaching Fellow, Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Teaching Excellence Fellow. These awards recognize my outstanding contribution to teaching and learning.
