Jonathan has held a number of senior management roles in the financial services industry. These included as Director for Financial Capability at the Financial Services Authority, HR Director for Change and Learning at Aviva and Chief Operating Officer for Internal Audit at both Aviva and Lloyds Banking Group. This included being part of the leadership team that led the integration of two FTSE 100 companies - Aviva and Friends Life. He has also spent time at PWC as a management consultant and the Bank of England as a banking regulator. During this time, he has developed significant skills in risk, audit and change management and was shortlisted for the Risk and Audit awards Inspirational Leader of the year in 2018.
Jonathan has also worked in the education sector for Cranfield School of Management teaching on their MBA, MSCs and executive education programs on HR and change management whilst a fellow in the Foundation for Management Education programme. He is also currently working in local further education as a part-time Economics Teacher and career support activity as he looks to give something back to the local community.
He is now operating as an independent consultant specialising in risk and internal audit transformation with clients including Bupa, Government Internal Audit Agency and the Institute for Internal Auditors. He has an MBA from Henley Business School and a PHD from Cranfield School of Management and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Jonathan is married with two children, and lives in East London, where he enjoys coaching, watching and playing cricket and time in London enjoying the rich culture and breadth of music, art and sport available.
