I’m the Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Game Art programme at Staffordshire University, where I have led the course to achieve top rankings, both nationally and internationally. My approach focuses on streamlining the curriculum by removing redundant criteria and enhancing the educational experience for students. I've been in education for nearly 20 years, I also initiated the Let’s Talk Games national student games conference event almost 10 years ago, providing a platform for industry experts to share their insights with students, further strengthening my links with the game development sector. With a deep passion for developing future talent, I’ve established strong connections with industry professionals, enabling students to gain valuable experiences through guest lectures, industry projects, and networking opportunities. This has played a key role in the course’s success, making it one of the most highly regarded programmes globally.
