Dr Muhammad Fahad

Senior Lecturer

Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business

I am Dr Muhammad Fahad, and I am the Course Leader of BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering program at University of Staffordshire. I have over twenty years’ professional experience in engineering. My main roles have been related to delivering lectures at both graduate and postgraduate level courses as well as to perform and lead research projects. I have over thirty research publications including three book chapters and have also successfully supervised two PhD projects. Apart from teaching at degree level, I have been linked with various renowned manufacturing industries (including automotive, textiles, pharmaceuticals, home appliance and food manufacturing) as a trainer and consultant on different projects related to layout enhancement, productivity improvement and lean manufacturing implementation. My recent projects include working with a local (based in Newcastle under Lyme) manufacturing company to enhance the properties of their composite materials.
