Nicola is a visual artist with a specialism in life drawing and visual analysis. Her main area of interest lies in anthropological analysis of visual imagery.
I am a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for the Game Art and Concept Art for Games and Film Foundation degrees, lecturing across both courses. I have a background in Fine Art with a specialism in traditional drawing and portraiture, with a further discipline in visual analysis and environmental storytelling.
Since joining the Games and Visual Effects team in 2016, I have developed my love of traditional observational drawing into the digital realms, with further skills in digital sculpting and digital painting.
In my spare time I like to paint portraits of early 1990’s WWF wrestlers and embroider offensive phrases in floral cross-stitch.
