Dr Sandra Murray

Lecturer

Health, Education, Policing and Sciences

I rediscovered my love of learning in my late twenties and took a non-stop journey through BA (Hons) degree, MRes in Computing Science, PGCE and Doctorate in Education.

Along this journey, I have taught in Further and Higher Education and supported the growth of teachers to become a highly experienced Teaching Excellence Fellow and Teacher Educator.

I am the course leader on the PGCE (Post Compulsory Education and training – PCET) and have gained professional credibility in this area, having co-written and written several books aimed at teachers in Further and Higher Education.

My research interests are teacher effectiveness and acting skills for teachers.

Come and chat to me about research, teaching or even musical theatre, but bring tea!
