I am a lecturer and researcher in biology and biomedical science. A biomedical scientist by profession, my practice is informed by my experience in hospital pathology and research laboratories. My teaching portfolio is a compendium of high school, college and university teaching qualifications with a special interest in special education needs and diversity in learning. Prior to life in the biosciences, I was an engineer who served in the ministry of defence.
