Forensic Investigators and Forensic Scientists in England and Wales will be involved in the examination of crime scenes and the analysis of evidence relating to a wide variety of offences, from volume crimes (such as burglary) to Serious & Organised crimes (such as kidnapping and murder). This masterclass will enable students to gain experience in investigating specific types of crime scenes.
During the Crime Scene House activity, students will be briefed on the case circumstances relating to a specific offence. They will then act as Forensic Investigators (FI), working as a team at the scene of a crime to learn the roles and responsibilities of the FI and putting these into practice in an immersive environment.
Due to popular use of the facilities, we can only offer this activity to students studying relevant subjects or requiring practical support for assessments.
