Private landlord accommodation

If you're leaving university owned student accommodation after your first year, there are plenty of options to choose from, including privately run halls of residence or housing rentals.

GreenPad

We recommend GreenPad lettings service run by the Students' Union.

The GreenPad team want all students to enjoy affordable, good quality, energy efficient homes. They inspect local properties and vet landlords to make sure you are renting safely.

They offer a range of private houses and manage privately run halls of residence. Properties range from two to eight bedrooms, so if you want to rent with friends or are a new student looking to share a house, they will do all they can to help.

As well as providing a friendly and informative drop-in service for house-hunting students, GreenPad hold an annual ‘Halls to Houses’ event and Housing Fair. You’ll get all the information you need to find a good home and the opportunity to meet GreenPad landlords.
