BSG Interns

Applications now closed for 2024 - check back from December 2025 for next recruitment cycle. BSG specializes in placing Hospitality Management student interns at prestigious private clubs, plus fine hotels and resorts along the east coast of the US.

By means of a J-1 cultural exchange program visa, students spend up to a year availing themselves of what is an exceptionally formative personal and professional opportunity.

The experience is open to all Staffordshire University students interested in Business and Hospitality sectors and places are unlimited.

Travel to host countries is permitted according to the travel rules for England as listed on the UK Government’s website. Further information/guidance can be found on the FCDO webpage for your chosen destination.

All participating students will receive up to date Covid and general travel advice by email and in pre-departure briefing sessions (mandatory attendance).

Costs

Costs:

  • Living Expenses – Apartment rental or similar depends on area, size etc
  • Flights to destination from approx £700 dependent on time of year and airline
  • Visa – £1275 for J1 visa
  • Embassy Appointment $160
  • Meals
  • Vaccinations – if required
  • Travel Insurance
