Flaxman Radio Studios

Professionally equipped broadcast radio studios.

The Flaxman radio studio facilities, located within The Broadcast Newsroom, consist of three individual studios and a studio monitoring area. To streamline end-user experience, there is a broad parity of technical equipment across these facilities. One studio is best-suited to a single operator/ presenter, one can accommodate a number of operators/ presenters and one includes a 'talks desk' for round-table discussion or debate. All studios are equipped with studio quality microphones and headphones, broadcast news production software (Burli), music play-out and scheduling software (Myriad Play-out and Myriad AutoTrack), as well as phone lines, ISDN units and web audio (for external contributors).
