Research centres

Our research centres are a hive of innovation and enterprise. A focal point for our research projects, they champion areas of strategic importance to the University. We have academics pioneering advances in renewable energy, artificial intelligence, microplastic pollution, forensic techniques and other specialist fields.

The centres provide a platform for our staff to engage in scholarly activity, take part in external research collaborations and share ideas. We introduce each centre according to the interdisciplinary research theme it relates to.
